Hard Work Pays Off
Some days I find myself questioning whether or not everything was or is worth putting in the word and effort.
Very rarely do I get an answer saying, "no."
There are times when I think is what I'm doing getting me to where I want to be or am I helping someone who needs it.
In the last couple of weeks though, that answer has been answered with a YES!
It isn't just about me training for Ninja Competitions or my life. It is about me being the best Ninja I can be. The best role model not just in recovery but for those who do look up to me.
I've found more and more people reaching out and saying thank you for helping them.
I have young girls excited to meet me because they've seen me on tiktok or Instagram.
To me, those things make me smile the most.
They may not realize it but it really does.
I have been able to get back on doing step work and going to meetings.
I've been making sure that my competitive Ninjas are doing what they need to do.
I'm being there more for my family.
In the last year, I've been able to take more trips than I have in the last few years.
I've learned to be somewhat patient with things out of my control.
I've come to learn with the help of Mike that I am capable of doing more than I realize.
All I can say is that I need to stop questioning whether or not all of this pays off in the end and just trust the process!!
